"You Can Do It! ART"
Here's how you do it:

Use good watercolor paper.

Cut to size. Fold it in half.

Tape the paper to the board, opened flat, with a piece of tape
across the center of the paper at the fold line. This creates your
white border around the painting which you will paint on the front
of the card. Also helps the painting to be flat when it dries.

Use an oval to guide your area inside the floral border. Draw a
light pencil outline of the oval to help you keep your painted
flowers in am oval arrangement.

Begin with stems and leaves. This helps you see where you will
place your flowers on the stems. Leave empty spaces where the
flowers will be painted.

Let leaves and stems dry.

As you paint the flowers, while paint is still wet, drop a tiny
bit of darker color in the petals or the center. This adds
dimension and interest to the finished work.

Let paint dry.

Remove tape from around your painting.

You can write inside the oval, or add a photo inside. Slip a piece
of white paper cut to size inside and write on it. Your recipient
is apt to want to keep the painting, or put it in a frame, so keep
the letter separate. Be sure to
sign your name on your greeting
card painting! It is original artwork!
